Select 50

Select 50 is a complete honor.  The Waterford Foundation asks the teachers from both of our high schools to select 25 students from their school who show citizenship, leadership and have great academics.  Out of all of the students, the ones who received the most votes make up the select 25.  Then on a special night they and their families are invited to come for dinner and be presented with an award.  The above picture is of the group.  For once they seated the kids in reverse order and they put the W's up front which gave me the chance to get a picture.

Because my little point and shoot is not great for the dark auditorium and apparently I was shaking just a bit this picture is blurry. This is Emily with her principal.

We snagged a balloon from the event and I snapped this picture of Emily holding it.

This is not only an honor for Emily but a reflection of what great parents she has. Congratulations all! Love the dress!
