Let's Play Ball
Historic Baseball in Greenfield Village, No gloves, No bunting, No sliding, No cursing, No spitting.
We love to go on a sweaty summer afternoon to watch these guys play. This Saturday the Lah-De-Dahs took on the Nationals. They play by the rules of 1867 when baseball was played for the sole purpose of exercise, so it is nothing like baseball today.
This guy came rolling through about half way through the game. You may notice that on the burm in the back is a rail road track. The game has to stop when the train goes by so no one on the train gets hit with a ball. They serve popcorn and old time soda and the even have a live band playing.
