So what do you do when your daughter says she doesn't want anything for her birthday. Well, first you go to the local barber shop (Charlie's) and post this announcement on his billboard for all to see.
Then you sneak up to the school and decorate her locker with a birthday message that I can not get to post so just imagine it.
Then you go to the elementary school that she tutors at and drop off cupcake so that when she arrives at 2:30 they surprise her and sing happy birthday to her.
Then when she is done at the elementary school you surprise her with a hair appointment to get all dolled up for church prom.
Then you don't complain to loudly when she skips off to be with her church friends to attend prom in Lansing. Stop growing up Emily!
Happy Birthday to our little girl who has grown into a beautiful young woman. We love you and are so proud of you.

What great birthday idea's! At this point in our girls lives it is all about making memories because before you know it they will be on their own. Beautiful dress too. How did they get to Lansing?
