I LOVE September! Yes, I am also very odd. September is when we call our farmer and have him get a grain fed cow ready to be butchered. It's sad for the cow but we pay below grocery store prices and a side of beef fills our freezer for the entire year. Another bonus is that it is very lean meat. I usually have to add a little splash of water to the pan so I don't burn it. Yeah Beef!
