I packed up the kids on Friday, August 31, and took them to the Toledo Zoo. We have not been there in 6 years and they have made some cool changes. We love this zoo because of the way it is laid out. It is easy to follow with lots to do between exhibits. Today was 95 degrees outside so most of the animals were taking naps. Emily took these great shots. The polar bear looks like he is having sweet dreams.

Momma Renee was proudly showing off baby Lucas. He was all over the pen and seemed to be enjoying the warm day.
Emily as a butterfly. I look at this and think of how my little girl is spreading her wings and ready to fly into adulthood. It brings tears to my eyes.
